In a near-future metropolitan sprawl, players assume the role of Alex, a digital detective specializing in uncovering false identities within the sprawling world of virtual marketplaces. Each character has a unique coding signature that can be swapped, leading to a world of deception and shifting allegiances. An ongoing online scandal involving identity theft and data pawnshops has left everyone's real selves muddled. As Alex navigates through holographic cityscapes, they must decode clues, interview quirky and suspicious NPCs, and engage in mini-programming puzzles to unravel the twisted narrative. The story shifts dynamically based on the player's coding skills and decisions, creating multiple endings based on who they trust and whose digital identity they choose to restore or sabotage.
