In a universe where time itself is under attack, you play as an out-of-work timekeeper named Max Xenon, whose job is to manage the flow of time. After a cataclysmic event called 'The Great Tick', different timelines begin to merge chaotically, leading to encounters with historical figures, past versions of yourself, and bizarre alternate realities. Players must navigate witty dialogue trees, make critical choices to stabilize the timelines, and wrestle with slapstick humor that arises from the absurdities of time travel.
