Checkmate in Vienna is a gripping drama that explores the psychological torture of isolation and our capacity for survival. Set during the Nazi annexation of Austria, the game tells the story of Dr. Josef Bartok, a wealthy notary to the aristocrats in Vienna, who is imprisoned in the luxurious Hotel Metropole by the Nazis.
