In a terrifyingly mundane world where paperwork decides life and death, players assume the role of a recently-deceased character who must navigate the bizarre afterlife bureaucracy. To escape eternal suffering, they must address their unfinished business, file forms, attend soul-trials, and deal with other disillusioned souls in a labyrinthine government office. Surrounded by absurd red tape and otherworldly clerks, insanity becomes an ally as the player encounters ludicrous challenges, uncovers hidden secrets, and attempts to rewrite their fate—all before their chance to move on vanishes into the abyss.
