Beneath the Surface

Set in the early 1900s, players take on the role of an immigrant working at the Asser Levy Public Baths in Manhattan. Amidst the tensions of class, race, and cultural differences, the baths serve as a microcosm of society. As players manage the daily operations, they meet a cast of vividly depicted characters, each with their own stories and dramas. They navigate social dilemmas, help resolve conflicts among patrons, and witness pivotal moments of history that unfold within the steam-filled walls of the baths.
